The Golden State Valkyries finish their regular season series with the Toronto Tempo by hosting them again on Tuesday. They will be looking for the sweep after Sunday’s win, but the visitors could have more rotation players available for this contest. With two games on the road next, the team will be looking to get ready for their trip with a winning streak. The game will be the only WNBA game of the day, but will only be nationally broadcast in Canada, being broadcasts in all three home markets and carried on WNBA League Pass elsewhere in the country.
The Valkyries
Golden State enters this game with a clean initial injury report, which should allow them to be flexible with their lineups again while keeping their usual rotation. Kiah Stokes ended up playing a big role at center and the team will have to be prepared for the need to match the opposition when it comes to frontcourt height again. While the Valkyries certainly had success when it came to shooting from distance, they will be looking to increase their efficiency inside the arc this time.
The Opposition
Toronto could have two more players available for this game with Brittney Sykes being the only player listed as out on their initial injury report. Aneesah Morrow is listed as probable now that she has had time to integrate with her new team after the trade. The Tempo’s frontcourt challenged the Valkyries on Sunday and could now be even more dangerous. Marina Mabrey is listed as questionable again and her return would certainly affect Toronto’s offensive explosiveness.
