Game Preview: 2026 Regular Season Game 17 vs Las Vegas Aces

Date, Time, and Location: Sunday, June 21st, 1:00pm, Michelob ULTRA Arena (Las Vegas)
Broadcast Information: CBS (full national) and Paramount+ (streaming)

The Golden State Valkyries have a road game on Sunday between three-game homestands when they visit the Las Vegas Aces. It will be the last regular season meeting between the two teams as the Valkyries will try to end their losing streak against them after a close loss in their most recent trip there. It is also another tough game in this big stretch against contenders. The game will be a full national broadcast on CBS with Paramount+ being their streaming option.

The Valkyries

Golden State does not enter this game with a clean injury report. Tiffany Hayes left the last game early and was listed as questionable with a left foot contusion. Laeticia Amihere getting minutes in the last game could put her in position to contribute again, especially if the Aces go to a taller lineup. They generally decided to match the Valkyries with smaller lineups in their last meeting though.

The Opposition

Las Vegas qualified as the Western Conference representative in the Commissioner’s Cup, winning four more games after defeating the Valkyries and only losing to the Dallas Wings. They bounced back from that game with a win in Phoenix on Wednesday, so they enter this game with significantly more rest. That could allow Chennedy Carter, who has missed recent games with an illness, the chance to return as she is listed as questionable in their initial injury report. Dana Evans and Janiah Barker are both listed as out having yet to play this season.
