Both teams had advanced to the next round and the result could have no impact on their opponents in the next round so they did not go all-out and Landes had the lead early, but Cukurova won 74-67. As the winner of group, they will play Valencia from the Spanish league, the second-place team in the other group with the second game being played at home in Mersin. Their league game this week was against Galatasaray on Saturday and they won 60-57 with Rupert providing 11 points and 7 rebounds and 36 minutes to keep themselves in a solid position in the standigs.
