Ireland
Ireland has historically been a place where WPBA players have thrived. The league there is a good starter league in Europe for those not coming from the biggest college programs and many teams are associated with universities there, offering players the chance to earn graduate degrees while playing. Despite much criticism over the years, the federation has decided to put their statistics behind a paywall and there have been complaints about the accuracy of what they do post. As a result, we do not plan to cover players there at the same level of detail.
Some WPBA players were on rosters there as the league opened play this weekend. Kylie Horstmeyer is playing for the Trinity Meteors. Christy Ojide Boiko is playing for the Midlands Park Portlaoise Panthers. Lexie Givens is playing for Fr. Mathews.
