This is the first column of the offseason covering the offseason play of players who have ties to the Valkyries. They will generally be published on Mondays and when possible, will include video links for past or upcoming games. Any player who did not play for another WNBA team after leaving Golden State will be covered as well as the two players who the Valkyries have signing rights to, but who have not played for the team. Former players will be covered if they are teammates with or opponents against covered players though.
Maria Conde
Players who were on the Valkyries will be playing in Italy this season, but for the season-opening Supercup, it was just Maria Conde playing in the semifinals with Schio on Saturday. They played Reyer Venezia in the championship game on Sunday and she was the leader with 21 points in 36 minutes as they rallied in the second half to win 68-56.
