Where are the Valkyries? EuroBasket Training Camp Edition

National teams have started preparations for the continental championships that are being played this summer. European teams recently hit the four-week mark before EuroBasket when they can officially start mandatory training camp activities. Exhibition games also started to be played.

France

After being waived by the Valkyries, Migna Toure was able to link up with France’s training camp, which also includes Iliana Rupert, who intends to join Golden State after the tournament. Their first exhibition game was on Sunday against Turkey and they won 81-61. Rupert had game highs of 26 points and 9 rebounds in 24 minutes and Toure had 13 points in 22 minutes.

Lithuania

Juste Jocyte has been in training camp with Lithuania as they returned to this level and she played in her first exhibition with them on Saturday when they visited Turkey. They ended up losing 73-68 as Jocyte had 16 points in 26 minutes.
