Where are the Valkyries? 10/06/25 Edition

Janelle Salaun and Kaitlyn Chen

Janelle Salaun made her debut for USK Prague on Wednesday in the SuperCup, a competition between the two FIBA Europe competition winners. USK Prague won the last EuroLeague in legendary fashion, but have made a number of changes, including bringing in Salaun. They visited France for this game, playing Villeneuve-d’Ascq, the team that Carla Leite helped lead to last season’s EuroCup title, winning 86-77 with 9 points and 6 rebounds in 30 minutes from Salaun. Kaitlyn Chen signed on a short-term basis before their Czech league game on Friday as they wait on other foreign players. She had 4 points in 16 minutes in a 100-65 win over Trutnov.
